Presenting the AUJS Revue 2006 site

The latest addition to the GreenAsh portfolio is the brand new site of the AUJS Revue 2006: Diaspora Housewives. The AUJS Revue is an annual student musical production, and this year, I am one of the members of its cast! The site is not yet complete - in particular, the finalised content still needs to be added - but the basic design is in place for now.

This site is also the first web site ever, to be powered by Drupal Lite. As my blog post explains, Drupal Lite is an extremely light version of the popular Drupal CMS, which was written specifically to cater to the needs of the AUJS Revue site; in particular, Drupal Lite does not need a database in order to work. This platform allows the site to easily be themed using templates; to easily have its page structure (or the content of its pages) edited; and to easily facilitate basic functionality such as contact forms.

Needless to say, developing this site was an unpaid volunteer effort on my part, and was done due to my personal connection and involvement with the Revue this year. Hope you like it so far!
